Heart Of Gold

I was in need
of a friend,
she came along
and took me in.
Her heart is pure
with a ray of light,
we became the
best of friends overnight.
She wrote a poem
that made me cry,
a heart of gold
with doves her spirit flies.
I thank her so much
for being there for me,
I enjoy the chats we have
I am filled with glee.
I dedicate this poem
to my newly found friend,
you will forever be in my heart
until we meet in the end.

Cynthia, sweetie, how beautiful and kind of you. I feel very honored that you feel this way. Friendship is a rare commodity these days and we all need every friend we can get. You brought loving tears and pride to my eyes. Bless you, my friend.
Love n hugs,
Rita |
