she's trapped in a
pointless marriage
with no one to turn to
and sadly no one to care
he is too but it
hasn't dawned on him yet

what is the meaning of love
and is no one willing to
risk anything anymore
i can not help her for
i, too, am losing
my faith in love

i've loved too many men
who never loved me back
and i've taken comfort
in what little
security there is
in friendship
