She ran out of the classroom, tears down her face.
Going straight to the bathroom, running like she’s in a race.
Lunch was last period; she can feel herself getting fatter.
She needs to get the food out; she could hear all the chatter.
Right before she went to the toilet, she looked into the mirror.
“A overweight girl, needing to lose weight,” is what she could hear.
Her face over the toilet, her finger in her mouth
Trying to get all the food out, hoping it didn’t already go too far south.
She got all of the food out, now to take a diet pill.
Out of everything she was doing, it didn’t matter if it could kill.
Then one day her luck ran out, all the hospitals, and friends crying.
She had been doing that at every meal, and to her parents she was lying.
No one could get through to her, that she was too skinny.
5’5” and 70lbs, no muscle, she was all bony.
Her original weight was 115, that was only 5 months ago.
At the beginning she lost it slow,
And the weight loss didn’t show.
But today was probably the last time for her to harf.
I walked into the bathroom and began to scream.
“I think she’s dead!” or so it seemed.
That next week I went to her funeral. She’s dead!
Her mom was crying over her, and then she kissed her forehead.
My friend died because she thought she was fat.
I really hope you wont have to go through that!
