I run to catch a glimpse.
To see you through that glass window.
You arent there.
I become frantic.
I go to my next source of communication.
You arent there.
Its been days now.
Since weve last spoken.
I wonder whats become of you.
I miss your fascinating words of wisdom.
Your endless humor and sweet comments.
Oh how they are needed now.
But soon we shall speak again.
Maybe today,
Or even a year from now.
But i know that one day,
We will speak such sweet words of love.
Just be patient and it will happen.
Be patient as i have been all my life.
Its only a matter of time.
I shall lock my heart away.
Hide the key,
Till that day comes.
