I miss you like I miss the
wind benath our wings.
Like I miss the sunlight hitting the trees,
Now I only wish I could understand those special things.
I miss your hand touching mine,
and you were breathtaking.
And When you said
that everything would be fine.
I miss the cold wind blowing in my hair,
and still would make me warm.
Now I understand,
there were never any time to spare.
I miss the could nights,
when only you could do me warm,
Those special moments,
like when I thought that nothing could do me harm.
But I do not need wings,
when I do not want to fly.
The only who can ever teach me, is you.
And I do not want to see the sunlight,
when I do not have your eyes to look with.
The only one I want to look with, is you.
And I do not need touch,
when you are not there to touch me.
The only one I want touch of, is you.
And I do not need wind in my hair,
when you are not there to blow it away.
The only storm i need, is you
And I do not need warmth,
when you are not there to hold me warm.
The only sun I need, is you.
I wish you could come back
and give me one last try.
I promise with all of my heart,
I would never make you cry.

| beautiful poem needs to be in a hallmark card.. it is a wonderful feeling being with someone to share life with. and have them near. It sure does hurt when your not with them.. I hope things work out for you.. i feel your pain... sandy |
