They say I Dream, too much.

From the greatest
To the smallest things in life,
I screw up, cos I dream.
So busy gazing out of the window,
I failed each exam. You scream
At me, cos I can't pay attention,
I catch the ending words,
In each honourable mention.
I cook, start off well,
But burn the rice, too busy thinking of
Days when I'll be twice as nice
Living in my own sweet OZ.
My dad's convinced I'm always high,
It hurts he doesn't trust me,
But I can see his point,
My brain and room's forever dusty.
A boyfriend left me months ago,
I never listened to what he said,
I was too busy dreaming of fame,
Even unfamous, it went to my head.
Now I'm pretty lonely,
(Although when they were around,
It was still just me),
Living in an unreal dream world,
Digging deeper into real misery.

Ya know..there is absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming. What would we have to strive for if we didn't dream?? |
