Huckleberry Blue is the colour of the wild yonder
A harum-scarum hog-crazy colour
A free-wheeling free-spirited loose cannon of a colour
A colour for shooting the moon.
Huckleberry Blue is a funky, freaky, kooky, beatnik colour
A radical dude of a colour if ever there was one.
Huckleberry Blue is a colour that is not wrapped real tight.
It is the colour of old October and pipe smoke
The squaw-candy colour of Alaskan salmon.
Huckleberry Blue is moonshine
Huckleberry Blue is bleached ebony
Huckleberry Blue is mud on your shoes and a laugh in your voice
Taking young virgins into the fields
To set an example in fertility for nature.
This is Huckleberry Blue.

And it is freedom and fun and youth and not giving a damn at the time. I love this colour.
