there's someone special i want to share my life,
i want us to be like husband and wife.
he always comes to me but i push him away,
telling him IM not ready to commit today.
but he tells me that without him IM nothing at all,
i tell him to just be patient to wait for my call.
he says if i wait to long i will build a wall and not let him in,
that being with him is not a sin.
he says i will be happier if i just give him a chance,
and he guarantees, happiness, honesty, communication and lots of romance.
IM still too scared to let him in,
scared to get my heart broke again.
but deep down not only do i want him, i need him to survive,
because i know knowing him makes me feel alive.
he brings me joy and a peace of mind,
he's thoughtful and one of a kind.
he wants me and that's important to me,
he says that he and i were destined to be.
he says no one can make me feel as he will,
but its not all smooth sailing there will be some hills
but if we go through it together i will learn to trust,
and if we are to be together that is a must.
so i decided to give him a chance and let him in my heart,
starting out with a fresh new start.
IM sure you are wondering about this wonderful man i speak of,
well his name is LOVE..
and he is not only a gift but a blessing from up above..
the greates gift i can think of
see love is what has been missing in me for years,
i was tired of the heartache, fears and tears.
i have shed the old me now IM open to something new,
and without love there's not much one will do.
but with it all my dreams can come true

| We can't keep pushing things away like this at times... the best may be looking u straight in the face... so stop the pushing and enter the doing.. u never know.. mistakes can always be amended.. I love this verse.. it came on in your real true style... but while doing it your way, continue as u try other ways.. all are wonderful. I shouldn't I vote five stars |
