A Lost Friend

Well your dream finally came true,
except i wont be there to help you through
You got a thug in your life to steal your heart,
you got new friends to rip you apart
I was there for you no matter what you needed,
I tried to show you friendship which i thought i succeded
But now your falling into a trap full of lust,
but I wont be there for your big bust
So keep taking off your clothes for the man you think is yours,
but we both know your not the only one he takes behing closed doors
Keep layin on your back to take away the pain,
keep inhalin as those tears flow like rain
I was the one who was always there,
but you were the one who forgot how to care
I wish I could help but looks like you dont need me around,
I wish i could help b4 your lifestyle puts you to the ground
I still keep you close to my heart no matter what you decide,
I wont give up but my advice I must hide
In time you will realize what you have lost,
walkin over a true friend to get sauced
I wish you luck in your future to come,
now look in the mirror and look at what you become

Wow..that is a very good poem, I hoped she did come to realize what a true friend you are.
I'm proud of you.
Great job and an excellent write.
