No Love

Contributed by perfection on Tuesday, 2nd March 2004 @ 06:32:49 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Why can’t I be loved like everyone else?
I sit in the back of class,
Walk home every night alone,
Go straight to my room and lock the door.
Around 11 my parents get home.
My mom makes supper; I go to bed and think.
Does anyone ever even notice me?
Does anyone care?
Should I just die?
I’ve looked on the Internet for different ways.
There’s so many.
Today’s my last I can’t take it anymore.
If no one notices me, then why be here?
I went to school like every other day,
Sat in the back of class,
And wrote a letter so people will know my reason.
I put it in my desk at the end of the day,
I left everything in there,
And walked home alone.
I watched as other kids played,
And smelled the fresh spring air.
Once I got home no one was there, just like always.
I went straight to the kitchen,
And prayed to god, I said,
“Lord if there is any reason for me to stay alive,
Tell me now, or I will see you soon”
I waited 10 minutes, the longest time in my life,
Nothing. There really isn’t a reason for me to live.
Well this is it. I Love You All!
I have nothing else to say. Bye!

**********
This evening when I got home,
I saw my child, dead, on the floor.
Blood was everywhere; he slit his throat.
I cried and cried and cried. I dialed “911”
Under all of my tears I said, “my child! He’s dead!
Help! Please Help!!”
An ambulance came and declared his death.
May 1, 1997: 7:06pm.
That next day I went to clean his desk.
In the process I found a letter titled:
“Reasons Why”
It started:
“Why can’t I be loved like everyone else? …”
