todays the day the world changes
because my life will end
with no one to protect me
i will no longer pretend
so i grab the last part of my soul
twist it till it bleeds
then turn around and stare
at every persons greed
they think their so perfect
with everything they have
untill they lose it all
and have nothing else to grab
todays the day the world changes
because everything is lost
no ones left with anything
for the world is a world of cost
i lay here and await the end
so it can take me away
away from this poor world
that is only filled with pain
