THE RED DRAGON

Contributed by Whisper on Monday, 1st March 2004 @ 09:54:45 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

This is how the Dragon holds on.
This is who we dream, supports us.
"Let not your heart be troubled ,"were taught.
"You can surrender all."

It's not weakness. It's not a shame.
It's not a sense that you've given up at all.
ALL is as it should be ?
And still we believe HE sees all.

This Dragon we fight is red , as red as the blood he shed.
For what you say? " For mere mortals all."
Silence is the years, as they roll on along.
And time takes its toll.
We can't stop the waking hours waiting, for HIM to return.

Small thoughts and Quiet wonderings...
Rush ever closer to find the answer, is within me.
Have I taken a long enough look and am I ready to face HIM?
One and Alone to bear my soul?
And then what more is left.

Will there be room for me?

Hey, check out my "The dragon only sleeps." This reminds me of it. I like this---especially the part about the red color. I like that comparison.
