To see through my eyes

Contributed by Shadow on Monday, 1st March 2004 @ 09:02:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

To see through my eyes for only a day
And know your path the only way
To see souls crumble like a mighty wall
And watch as it all does fall

To look at the sky warm with the sun
Only to see your world undone
To look at your friends' smiling face
Just to seem them crumbling from the base

To look into the darkness and find the sun
And understand what it is to be done
To look into the blissful night
And thank god there is no light

To know what I do about dear life
Never to end my mournful strife
To know all that fate will damn
And know what I truly am
