Lying Here Alone

Contributed by dark_poetry2404 on Monday, 1st March 2004 @ 05:40:46 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I lie here alone and
watch my life go by,
I watch all i've ever
known slowly fade away,
I live my wretched life
wishing to die,
When I know my debts
I can no longer pay,
I watch my dreams and
hopes go down the drain,
I watch my blood slowly fall to the floor as I think of all my pain,
I watch my once called
happy life turn to hell,
I think of all my strife,
Hell starts when you hear
that wedding bell,
When I wish I could end my life,
I lie here and think why am
I hear,
I lie hear and wish my life
was better,
When all I feel is pain
and fear,
I think of my horrid life
as I write this letter,
So now I slowly fade
out of sight,
Today is the day,
Now I see the light
