Better End

Contributed by Chanti on Sunday, 29th February 2004 @ 10:53:26 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Fighting for fake glory,
we live this twisted dream,
where promises are broken,
and God's deaf to our screams,

We follow shallow leaders,
till were brainwashed with tainted minds,
were all fighting for 'the better cause,'
just not the same kind,

But still we are all innocent,
drugs running through our veins,
dropping bombs on young children,
for our personal gain,

Washing away every sin,
with heaven's in your heart,
pray to make pain go away,
we slowly fall apart,

Always hoping that youll die,
doing anything to live,
going against all that we say,
a world of hypocrites,

But still we are just innocent,
drugs running through our veins,
dropping bombs on young children,
for our personal gain,

Let us live this naive dream,
playing this game of pretend,
after all, were simply innocent,
waiting for the 'better end.'
