You come in the night with the swiftness of a theif
Even before I pull back the covers I sense you
The world is calm and gray
The evidence of your presence is evrywhere:
The trees smile and dance, their branches a resting place for your glory
The birds sing their happy song
And the ground heaves with breath full of life
Your gray cloud covers all, nothing can escape it
Underneath it is the resting place between a world about to erupt and a world of eternal sleep
Nothing surpasses you in beauty, Bringer of Life and Peace
Now, all you who sleep in happy slumber, Awake and see what the rain has brought!
