the tigress runs with green water
slow deliberate attempts
to reach a conclusoin
sweating in the desert
the sun beating
like a drum
insistent measures
hour after hour
until darkness throws
it's dark shawl down
over the sky
we sit in the courtyard
drinking strong coffee
smoke aromatic cigarettes
rehash the days events
tracing the tiles under my fingertips
nervous energy returning
as we move closer
to our conclusion

I think you could write about an ant hill and make it sound like the most important and interesting thing ever concieved. You talent for making common place seem uncommon is astounding.
