I meant to say "I'm yours"
But the words failed me.
To give myself completely.
I am emotion not words.
I meant to say "I need you"
But what if you didn't need me?
I desire you, and only pray
Someday you may need me the same.
I meant to say "I love you"
But I was afraid. I couldn't....
I meant to say "I'm sorry"
But I wasn't sure if I was.
I thought I was for not telling you sooner,
The thing I could not say before.
