she guessed he never loved her
she was mearly an obsession
all pretty words and fairytales
but none of them were ever real
yesterday went past someday
whilst love eternal flew the seas
for tomorrow had its demands
love gave up for other plans
yesterday went to far away
forever after dying this way
now no amount of fairy sprinkles
will bring this love alive again
no evermore forever darlings
'cause ever-after just laughed at her
as someday burned up in the flames

Nessa; I have been there and it is heartbreaking forever. Makes you fear trying forever after ever again. The pain sears deep and is not easily healed. Here is hoping forever finds you again. This is a beautifully penned piece of work.

Captivating and eternal in its words, bittersweet and succulent against the lips, a beautiful write nessa, forever in its darkest form, you captured it in surging grace, your talent shines through and swiped away all the shadows my friend, the flow was astounding the structure flawless, the wording perfect.

yesterday went past someday
Loved this verse before I read it. The title Nessa, terrrific. The quoted line above, says so much, I need to read and ponder on this verse for some time to really see what you are saying. For me this is a capturing write. Sad, yet you are tolking from without, a very important and hard rule to master.

Ladyfawn, What a good title, I had to read this poem because of it, the ending is funny in a strange way, I do like that, you always write so well and show so much creativity,
