I Sail

Contributed by ruby1987 on Sunday, 29th February 2004 @ 12:57:36 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

A block of vision
Blurs an image of red liquid to clear
This paint
Which I smear with my fingertips
is cold
This paint
I gild it into the wooden floor

In my solitude
I laugh at
My solitary existence
Collapsed on my stomach
I begin to fear this
Red paint on which I lay
Painstakingly I laugh
Only to plunge into
A land of nostalgia
Into nostalgic feelings of my childhood
And my life now

The ’ palaver
Of it all-
Having the notion
Of no nostrum

Noxious
I stop smearing the red paint
And watch its
Cells increase
Like a bath tub
Filling with water
The paint begins covering the mahogany floor
To a royal carpet

A block of vision clears an image of red liquid to blur
I inhale deep
And hold it
I listen
To the music of my nucleus
Drums beating
Pleading for my lungs
To exhale
And labour
Softly
The polluted air

Drums from Metallica
Beats in my
Nucleus
And in its chocolate centre
Marvin
Sings his torment

Quiet footsteps
Hustle around
But they’re
Drowned out
By my unnatural nucleus
that coz
I’m not there-
Instead I roam
In my boat
Sailing in that red liquid paint-
Searching, searching for the cure
Of my neurosis
Then searching for the map
To journey to my
Nirvana
A place where
I wont get neurotic about things
That scare the out of me
I sail
I sail in my red liquid paint
