I got my prayer even though i didnt know He was there

as i lay down to sleep i pray the lord he can see
that i am far from what he wants but close to trying to be for him
i am not religious
i am not angel
i am no demon to say the least
but i wish i could understand
and have Him there to answer me
i have made attempts and christianity
i have made taunts at God himself
now he gave me a man, what a man
and i know he was watching to me all this time
he walked beside me and carried me too
i see his footsteps in my deams
i never thought God would be a part of me
i never thougt i would be thinking like this again
i know he is under each stone and in each broken peice of glass
i know cause he gave me a dream, a wish, a paryer i have utterd many times
God gave me him to prove the He still loved me

May sound odd coming from me, but I know the feeling. My girl, my soul mate, was put in my path.
