Comfort through the pain

I search for something
That will ease my troubled mind
I searched for a new reason to sing
To leave the past behind

I found that writing
All of my fears down
Calmed and comforted the tears that I was fighting
With out me even uttering a simple sound

So I write the things I do
Because they give me comfort through the pain
They help me feel refreshed and new
And keep me from going insane
