Confess

Topic: SadPoetry

Blinding sickness of the creature I've become.
While lies that we believe?
The monsters that always redeem
This life is too unreal for me
Trapped in the nothingness I am
How long did it take you
To hate who I've become?
I'm a stranger to myself
A lost deity,
Trying to find what's not even there
Hate consumes, Becomes all that you are
Warped illusions of the dream I can't escape
Locked in this shell.
To always hide form everything that's real
Escaping the reality I'm so foreign to
Nightmares that will never end
Watching slowly as all my fears
Come true
What ever happened to lullaby's and fairy-tales?
Or the innocent girl lost in the crowd?
Where are you, when I'm all alone?
The darkness and night life
Have because my new best friend
So much I try to block out
All these tears I store away
I'm giving up on ever being free
From worries and who we've come to be
So much time's been lost
I'd give it all up for you my love
My pride, my life, you are everything to me
I risk it all for you
Even though you could care less
What happened to us?
To you , to me?
This isn't how things were meant to be.
