Do I have the ability to conquer me fear?
The ill feeling plague that's killed me this year
The thought that eats away at my life
Cuts through my happiness like a blood soaked knife
Do I have the willing to face my demons head on?
The existence of darkness that serenade me in song
The thought of this subject always keeps me awake
The numbness and shaking never seems to break
Will I have the power and knowledge to succeed?
When life tells to lie down and let my demons breed
Do I have the ability to raise the level of my game
To take myself to a higher existence a new realm or am I insane?
The answer lies soon as for now I will try and forget
The demons are calling should I answer them yet?
As each day goes on I grow weaker in belief
The knife that I cut with lies embedded in its sheath
Maybe the answers will come as I sleep
Shall I pray to the lord to my soul to keep?
Or succumb to the Devil and all that he gives
The eternal battle for my soul as long as it lives.
