Why do I smile?
Oh, you'll never know
Though this hell around me swirls
I just keep on grinning
A sick and twisted grin
Why do I smile?
Oh I'll never tell
The very basics would confuse you
And the details would make you scream
You don't want to know why
Why do I smile?
Oh, it's awful and it's wicked
It's horrid and it's vile
Why you want to know surprises me
But it's really not that odd
Why do I smile?
Oh, they all want to know
Everyone always asks
But I'll never tell
Not ever
