I used to give my heart away so quickly there was pain,
Now I hold it tight, never let go and it's the same,
I can't find my footing on this heartbreaking tightrope,
And it seems I've lost my faith, my hope.
It's a balancing act and I'm on my way down,
Falling, Falling never hitting the ground,
Waiting for bottom, becuase there lies stability,
Please strip me of all, leave me no humility.
Can't you see I'm the extra piece in this jigsaw,
Everybody knows right where they fall,
But me, I'm never a part of the whole,
I distort the picture never filling the (w)hole.
So far from bottom, I'm never getting close,
Because I fall, it drops and still nobody knows,
They just see me suspended in air,
Ignoring my decline thinking thier's might compare.
