The tears that fall
From my eyes
Seem to have no end
They come from
The dark places
Of my broken soul
Where are you
In times like these
When no one else
Is around?
I thought you were the one
Who would never let me down
I thought you’d be here always
To make this pain cease
But it seems to me
That you have left
And I will have no peace
This pain it hurts
This pain it haunts
My very heart and soul
My world is spinning,
My world is turning
I can’t seem to gain control
I once had peace
I once knew hope,
But that was a long ago
Now pain and hurt
Is all I seem to know
