I Can Feel The Rain In My Heart

Contributed by kidpoet_213 on Thursday, 26th February 2004 @ 09:07:21 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I can feel the rain in my heart
As my heart's crying out for you
I can feel the rain in my heart
Pouring through all the saddness of your life
Washing away all those tears that you cry
Cleansing your soul from all the anger you feel inside
As I feel the rain in my heart... for you

These tears that I cry
Keep falling from my eyes
Rolling down my cheeks to die
They won't stop flowing
They just keep rolling from my heart
A steady stream...
As my love for you... is breaking apart

I don't know what more I can do?
I keep praying my heart out over you
You're on my mind both day and night
'Cause I can feel the pain
You keep hidden deep inside
There's nothing I can say or do
To ease the pain...
All I can do... is feel the rain

I've always tried to be a true friend
I've reached out with my words and my hands
And have touched you ever so gently with my heart
And helped you to try and stand

'Cause where your heart is... there mine will also be
With all the emotions that I feel pouring out of me
I can feel the rain in my heart... for you
