.:'Old At Heart':.

Contributed by echomywurdz on Thursday, 26th February 2004 @ 06:51:26 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

When i was born i was already thirteen
not physically of course but emotionally

So really Ive been grown from the pure start
Young on the outside, But adult at heart

Living like this...well its been strange
But I've made it through like this and still have so much to gain

Now 13 on the outside
and 26 with-in...

Yea its hard for me
But I've gotta live to win

And as i emotionally and physically grow
I'll be dead on the inside before the out and this everyone knows

But living with out emotion, how will that be?
But I'll finally be able to live out the age of the outside me

Growing to old on inside is something i forever will dread
All because when i was born i was to emotionally ahead

But killing me on the inside and living just the out
Will surely happen soon enough and this you can see without doubt

But before the emotional side gets old and dies out
I'll leave my mark to remember that days

When i was younger on the outside,
And older with-in that just had an earlier grave
