Why Look Fat

Contributed by norm on Thursday, 26th February 2004 @ 08:16:01 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

I'm tired of feeling clothes too tight
No way to take another bite,
You can't eat food unless it's lite
That doesn't seem to me quite right.

Was I born to suffer so?
Every calorie must be low,
I'd love to eat like cousin, Moe,
He'll eat a horse, you'll never know.

All my kin can shovel in,
And gain no weight, to me a sin,
I'd like to swing a rolling pin,
And slug the cook, so how've you been.

My awful plaint, you now have heard,
I'm tired eating like a bird,
An idea I, you'll think absurd,
A way to eat and lessen gird.

You start off having pants too big,
The kind a comic at a gig,
Wears to look just like a pig,
That fare fall off, if you can dig.

And tight no more your clothes will feel,
And tight no more at any meal,
The solution seems to me quite real,
You'll look not like a fat mobile.

You'll eat and eat and from this time,
What e'er you eat will be sublime,
Because we had to have it rhyme,
The idea's worth a bloomin' dime.

I am tired of worrying about being chubby

Now why didn't I think about this? I am off to go shopping for all my favorite fattening foods and clothes! What they don't know won't hurt them, right????

Dear Norm.........I like the title of this poem.
Rather catchy....."Why Look Fat?"
But what if you are......how can you look any other way.......I never could understand how
people can judge your outside....and think they know your inside......the two don't wane.
You watch your calories, and skimp, even to the last dime......are skinny people happier than fat? But health-wise, it's proven you are healthier when you eat a lighter burden
Happy calories to you......until you buldge.
Those that do.......usually indulge!
