WHICH IS GOD~HE OR SHE?

Contributed by lovingcritters on Wednesday, 25th February 2004 @ 09:13:06 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

I know some who insist He is a He,
Many others who say She is She?
We are all mixed up you see!
For God Almighty God neither be!

There is no sex difference in Heaven.
Neither female, nor male, nor leaven.
No one up there has bodies like we.
They are just "Pure Thought" powerful be!

The God in Heaven wants us to understand
Uses terms we know, head, heart, hand,
Wife, daughter, woman, man, even land.
In Heaven cannot be found, these remand.

Bible says, He is He, no woman
His word says woman's head is man.
Only postions, does not mean domination!
Covered with man's loving protection....

If you believe His Word to be inspired,
Then that means He is the Author desired.
If you do not, and want to think on your term.
A He you be, but called a She,
would you squirm?

His Book also calls Him by Name,
Jehovah God.
That name in it's self has much meaning awed!
In Hebrew it is masculine, and shows to we~
"I shall prove to be, what I shall prove to be"

The prayer that is known world over,
is the "Lord's Prayer"
Jesus taught us how to pray....it starts like this,
Our "FATHER" in the heavens, with care....
He could have said, Our "MOTHER"
He also said, My "FATHER" is greater than
I am, he could have said, but didn't,
"MOTHER"

will find God's name."

Connie, this is written brilliantly. Although in my mind I think it is one of those points that truly doesn't matter. In my mind, GOD IS, whether He or She. It seems in this world too many people don't believe at all so it is a moot point. To true believers in a spiritual being, even though many different names are used, GOD WAS, IS, AND ALWAYS SHALL BE. The main thing is that we believe. Bless you for this beautiful piece of artistry.

Rita
