I'm confused,
That's the only thing I can say.
I don't know why I could have thrown
Such a good thing away.
It's been months since I made
The WORST mistake,
But I still need you near me,
Still need to hear that soft intake
Of your breath, soft,
Against my skin,
As you play me sweet melodies
For hours upon hours on end.
Yes, it's true then, I suppose,
With you I made a mistake,
I should've held on, but I let go,
And now it's too late to change our fate.

Great write Gin, but I'm going to have to disagree... It's never too late for love. You want him back, I think you should go for it!
