I miss the way you lit up my life,
like beacon shining on blackest night,
and the way you walked without a care,
arms swinging from here to there.
I miss the way you talked to me,
like there was nowhere else you'd rather be.
The way you laughed, the way you spoke,
the way you made the cleanest jokes.
I miss your eyes, the portals within,
how you kept yourself free of sin.
The way you danced to the music in your mind,
your stunning personality, loving and kind.
I've missed these things, and more it's true,
but most of all, I'm missing you.
