Soap Opera

Date her
You're tellin' me
Even though
Yeah
You're my best friend
But
Her ex
Ain't nothin'
But
A soap opera.

Say we're perfect
For one
And nother
That we know
Each other
In and out
That its meant
To be
But still
Its crazy.

You fall
And crumble
Shatter
To pieces
Because
You guys broke up
But
You tell me
To date her
Because
You say
You love her
And want to see her
Happy
And I'm the one
That will
Its just like
A ***** soap opera.

Days of our Lives
Are you listenin'
Here is a story plot
For you
Its crazy
As hell
Its like I'm some actor
In some soap opera.

And
Whats this
You tellin' people
That me
And her
Are dating
Even though
We're not
You can't force us
Into it.

We won't be mad
If something happens
Between us
But
We're not going to
Push it
Or force it
We're both happy
Being single
STOP!
Turnin' our lives
Into a soap opera.

Good job, well written.
