the wind blows off to distant lands
as my heart begs for the chance
to drift away on that wind
to the places i dream off at night
where fairies no longer flutter
just out of sight
and trees are never just trees
but creature that move and talk
where water is as clear as jews
the shy as blue as my eyes
where pain is something unheard of
and laughter sings from the wind
where not a soul is lonely
and adventure is there
for those who seak it
and love is mine forever
where flowers talk
and trees walk
where talking to animals is normal
and so is them talking back
maybe one day i'll find it
this place i dream of at night
maybe one day ill go there
on the back of the wind.
