Sweet Angel of Death

Contributed by silent on Wednesday, 25th February 2004 @ 04:18:44 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

As we walk upon the sands of a memory
Our gaze turns towards that beautiful blue ocean
Transfixed by the tranquil thoughts of a time long ago
A gentle breeze flows silently along the path
The sunset looking so wonderful, breathtaking
Standing upon a cliff, sand beneath my feet
Out upon the horizen i start to reflect

I remember your beautiful, capturing eyes
Alluring to my core, but now my demise
Still i can smell your long brown hair
Sweet laughter too, lingers upon the night air
Your soft touch i feel upon my rough face
Haunting my soul, soon death will i taste

My love when i found you a part of me died
So long i kept hidden, just cried and cried
An angel you were, brought here to me
I loved you so deeply, for you were my key

Mesmorised by your photo, i cannot let go
I want you so badly, no-one could know
You are all that i had, helped heal my abuse
Now you are gone, i just don't see the use

Whispered memories and a photo is all i have left
Wishing for you as i take my last breath....
