Just as the days are to the nights
So is my spirit against my flesh
I am so consumed in the eternity of my end
Ever fearful and yet so daring
My mind is twisted with hateful swearing
My left foot goes one way
My right foot another
Which path shall I find myself going?
Pleasure awaits around every corner
But so does death,in hidden places
Just look at everyones faces
What do you see?,it's only a mask
But what's underneath? You don't want to ask
'Cause under my flesh,muscles and bones
Are the eternal grinding of teeth and moans
I am but one person and who is to say........
Is it just I,or are we all this way?
