Death

Contributed by Cynthia on Tuesday, 24th February 2004 @ 11:29:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

The Grim Reaper
comes knockin'
on your door,
it is time to
seal your fate
between Heaven
and Hell.

He comes
like a thief
in the night,
he cares not
about the people
he hurts.

The chains
that bind
love together
are broken,
fate decides
where you will be
in your afterlife,
it all depends on
how you lived
your life here.

Sickle in hand,
death leads you
to your destination.

Will it be
Heaven or Hell?

You decide.

I made my decision long long ago. When I walk through that final gate I want there to be sunshine and angels and the most important man in my life standing there waiting for me, my Lord and Saviour.

Beautifully written,
Rita
