the prodigal son

_______________________
bent to the wind
task has no end
leaving scars upon my hands
hurt beyond repair
the tide's salty kiss
tries so hard to mend me
save me from myself
with glory to God
and angels too
the waves wash the same sand
day after day
planned to leave
so long ago
but couldn't stay away
from all I know
and feel the tug upon my soul
to take up the yoke
that was let go
and here I stand
in the mire of my making
up to my bootstraps
sinking
into oblivion destruction
and I still don't know
if I was wrong or right

I am running out of things to say about your work Gaille. Each one leaves me deep in thought and that aint good for a guy with such a shallow mind...hehehe
This is yet another example of your talent my friend.
