The silent tears that rape the night
The reassurance of an ending light
The razor that knows the blood in my veins
The heart that felt every ounce of pain
The brain the holds this one disorder
The years that make me that much older
The scars that remain on my arm
The signs that made my parents alarmed
The feeling that reminds me of your hate
I've left for good but is it fate
The nightmares that remind me of a deeper fear
The feeling of your presence as you come near.

This is really well written! Good job!

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
