Oh, death
Solace in my final hour
Do not forsake me now
I have grown weary of this world
I beg thee, grant me rest!
Before the thrown I place no regrets
Hope hath flown away
In cold of night,
Or dust of day.
True love bids me requite
I must see him now, the hour is late.
Heaven, do not denie me now
My only love and desire!
He lies beyond the gates of gold
He awaits for me, before the throne.
Heaven, I do not denie thee, now.
As I once did in dreams
I only yearn for what is real
His face, again, I wish to see!
Oh, death
You forsake me now, as well
Where were you when I needed thee?
Where were you when I cried?
In the depths of what is left of love
In forsaken hearts, you hide
My fate I must decide, alone.
Beyond the golden gates, he lies!
My only love and hope in life!
He bids me to be by his side!
I cannot wait for fate to toll.
Under the angel's wings, alone he cries.
In heaven, he hath no resting place.
He is lost, without a guide.
Heaven cannot be a heaven
Without true love's requite.
Oh, death please let me leave this hell!
Oh, death, please let me be!
Death cannot part two bonded souls
My life is but a dream
Fate cannot hinder destiny
My love and I, we are meant to be!
Within life or within death,
To be as one, our destiny be.
Half of me is dead without true love's requite
One in flesh and soul,
Together we must be!
To dwell in heaven as one in spirit eternally.
