My heart is often like the butterfly.
Spurious and flightfull, not set on any one point.
Just wanting to fly from place to place and experience.

Yet now my heart is much like the hawk.
Focused and steadfast, eyes set on its goal.
Never wavering, only wanting to reach that
point in sight.
I'm guided by your glorious energy.
Outburning the sun by far.
And your soft glow, more elegant and graceful
than the moon.

Your eyes have commanded my presence,
Beautiful candle-lit pools.
Your voice has soothed my nerves,
More alluring than those of the sirens.
Your hands have rubbed away my fears.
As skillfully as an artisan.

Venus's beauty is mortal as compared to
yours, eternal.
I'm blessed to have you in my life.
