Good riddance they say
As the claws make it through
My bone
My heart
The blood went long ago
Dripping from the changing door
I've seen this story a thousand times
Run away
The monster will break through
But I know it will catch me
I know I want it to catch me
These people I won't miss
Loving their lined up meals
They'll be ignorant
Be happy
I'll keep going
Knowing what's behind me
The claws in the door
Will get me eventually
