There is a prison out here in wonderland
The guards are armed to the teeth
And the inmates are you and me
Meals are always cold and raw
Flies are present, dwelling along side of us
We love them like brothers
Prison life isn't bad because of T.V.
Cable has provided an escape
And riots are controlled with Science Fiction
Behind the bars of freedom
We sit like dogs tied with mental leashes
Captives in our free land

Only in a free land could you write this. Don't take what little freedom you have for granted.

Am I hearing someone who hates the smallness and poverty of modern living as much as I do? You must get this from being alone in the outdoors. I can feel this completely.
Keep it up! |
