Fish Without A Line

Contributed by jbrow on Monday, 23rd February 2004 @ 11:16:54 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I have been trying to catch a fish without a line. O how can the lost
ever lead the blind. Everybody keeps on telling me to slow down, and take
my sweet time. Can walking not running just be a state of mind? God’s word
says if you seek you will find, What you are looking for. Can you tell me
what dreams are yours, and what dreams are mine’s? I’m catching dreams for
now in a bottle of tears. I have been trying to catch a fish without a line. Can
my life ever past the time.

man i was really feeling this. i sometimes feel like that and kno how hard it is. honestly i think you could try not to rhyme so much in a way that it all through the lit. but that is my opinion and i dont really get into alot of rhyming if you havent noticed on my stuff.
later man, keep the good stuff coming

It is true "seek and ye shall find" but you have to search carefully. If you move to fast, without a plan, or throughly searching you will miss what you are looking for in life. Sometimes you have to slow down and let it catch up with you. Great poem.
