Sitting here,
looking at the clock,
watching the seconds
pass me by.
Tick, tick, tick,
minutes pass,
my life slowly
ticking away.
I've tried
enjoying time,
but days pass by
too quick.
Other times,
the days pass by
too slow,
tiredness sets in.
What is time?
God knows
no meaning
of time.

I think our 'one day' is a thousand years to God. Sometimes I think we push too far ahead of his time schedule and expect him to work on ours. I remember these feeling so many times in my life when I was younger and impatient. God works in his time and no matter how hard we try, we can't make him hurry up! This is a great poem and expression of feeling.
Hugs,
Rita |

suites my thinking as of now...the clock wont speed up when you want it to, and it speeds by when you ant time to stay. time is so a double edge sword and cruel. |
