More and more like a bug!!
You go through life plunking your heart on your sheath
Not truly understanding why the smear is still there
Occasionally getting struck and stepped on
Recovering with pain just like before
The superficial effects are habitually seen
Your kaput ways and no span to ascend
Motionless though it’s a distinguished look
Extremely simple minded and in a shell that cannot be broken
Pending that one occurrence and devourers all
