There will always be
enough laughter to set us free,
enough rainbows to make us smile
as we travel life's lonely mile.
Smile at a flower, a tree, a bird,
a church, a house, a whispered word.
Smile when there is no reason to,
send a smile out and it comes back to
you.
I think that as I pause today
some words of hope I'll try to say
and pass along a rainbow that
creates a song;
the sound of laughter to right
what's wrong.

well done, a smile doesn't cost a thing.
A fine poem. |
