You look at me
And see a different person
Than was here years ago
But it seemed like only a moment
So you look at me
As a foreigner
A body-snatcher of sorts
Someone who stole your baby-girl
I'm just a moody replacement
Who shys away from touch
And finds distance more comfortable than nearness

Very truthful poem, princess. I guess I can relate to this quite well. Very succinct and worthy of a vote. Well done. |

this is a good poem, which truly shows how a child changes once in teenage years. Sometimes my parents think i'm zombified... |
