Break gently morning,
Kiss the darkness now goodnight,
Cascade the golden harvest,
Of the sun's warm rays of light.
Dawn expresses solitude,
In quiet soliloquy,
As she welcomes you ,
With graciousness,
Presented tenderly.
Break gently morning,
Let night's sweet beauty sleep,
Initiate another day,
Through my window may you peep.
Break gently morning,
As sunlight beckons me to awake,
Embrace me with the warmth,
As your entrance you do make,
May you encase me with your beauty,
As I see the birds fly high,
May I see God,
Don his favorite smock,
As he paints,
The morning sky,
May I witness fluffy clouds,
As a rainbow lingers by.
In such brillant,vibrant colors,
That brings wonder to my eyes.
May you grace the garden flowers,
With your tender loving care,
Enhance their light,sweet fragrance,
That shall linger in the air.
May the coming of your presence,
Bathe the grass with morning dew,
As you bring forth God's creations,
For everyone to easily view.
Break gently morning,
May your arrival make the way,
For me to bask,
In God's great splendor,
Now and each and every day.
